A day in CATAN

So there is this board game...Settlers of Catan and it is pretty nerdy. Actually the first time i played i quietly made fun of everyone who was playing it, about until half way through the game when I was bartering for sheep, wheat, ore, brick, and of course wood. I also joined the bandwagon quickly with incessant "wood" jokes (if you have played than you know what I am talking about).

So I decided to buy it, so that people would come over and play, and i could play whenever i wanted. Luckily for me Karrina (my wife) liked it to. So we are extra nerdy. I dont know how to explain it but it was the power to addict, and i already love games, but usually nobody likes to play. I shamefully admit a 3 hour game...but at least it involves high levels of interaction. Thats good. So yes if you arent too cool, than pick it up, or come over and we will trade, build setllements, cities, and roads, and have a fun time. It has just became cool to be a nerd.
